Actor Gene Wilder dead at 83

Gene Wilder, the rubbery-confronted star of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and drama works of art from Mel Brooks, has kicked the bucket, as per his nephew and his specialist. He was 83.

More out of control kicked the bucket Monday at his home in Stamford, Conn.,of inconveniences from Alzheimer's infection, as per an announcement from his nephew, Jordan Walker-Pearlman, issued through Wilder's operator, David Shapira, to USA TODAY.

"It is with incredible bitterness and blues, yet with otherworldly appreciation for the life experienced that I declare the death of spouse, guardian, and all inclusive craftsman Gene Wilder, at his home in Stamford, Conn.," Walker-Pearlman said in the announcement.

"It is verging on agonizing for us to mull over our existence without him. The cause was entanglements from Alzheimers Disease with which he coincided throughout the previous three years. The decision to keep this private was his decision, in chatting with us and settling on a choice as a family."
